We’re All In This Together

Grace Church,

The church has left the building! We have moved all of our gatherings online until further notice. Right now, we have the opportunity to BE THE CHURCH in our homes, on the internet and even in our neighborhoods! Praise God for the church moving online during this time… we are praying for God to move and for the church to be able to offer hope in Jesus in the midst of uncertainty!

Here’s an update on how you and your family can stay connected at Grace, how our church is responding to COVID-19 and how you can help. Man, do we miss seeing you all on Sunday, but let’s stay connected, serve our community and world, and be the church even though we can’t be in the church!

Pastor Nick

Since we will not be meeting in our physical building for the upcoming weeks, we have created several options to watch church online on Sunday morning. A list of all streaming and on demand options can be found on our website. Every platform is streaming the same service, so don’t worry too much about which one, just tune in live at 10:15 or watch on demand later in the day.

Proper personal protective masks are critical to help limit the spread of the virus. The CDC has endorsed these homemade masks as acceptable, and hospitals across the country are engaging community volunteers to sew them. JOANN stores are offering a sewing pattern, link to an instructional web video, and supplies available for your use through a longstanding partnership with Summa. We are partnering with Wooster Community Hospital and supplying them with our homemade masks.

We are continuing to support and pray for our kids in Southeast Asia. Asia’s Hope and our house parents are doing everything they can to keep our homes safe. In addition to our regular support we have sent $10k to support a surgery for one child and to support Asia’s Hope’s anticipation of future needs as they continue to navigate a new reality in Thailand, Cambodia and India.

We want to help equip you to be the church in your neighborhood! We created this card (below) to give you a way to  connect with, care for and share Christ’s love with your neighbors. Print this off to leave at your neighbors’ doors to offer your assistance through this time of need. These cards are also available for pickup at the church office.
