Sowing Hope ministers to neighborhoods on the south side of Wooster. We seek to build relationships with individuals and famiiles so that with God's help we can develop more people into fully devoted followers of Christ.
One way we reach out to our neighbors is picnics. In the month of July, Sowing Hope ministries will conduct picnics in three areas the summer of 2010: The Towers, Perkins Apartments, & Rebecca Street.
Praises to God for the many volunteers who help us. You can find them assisting in the preparation phase: praying, doing errands, purchasing items, setting up the tents. You can discover people helping during the picnics: greeting people, conversing with them, playing with the children, serving the food, or taking pictures. You will find a few who want to do more: making follow-up visits, driving families to church, or starting a mentoring relationship with a family. God's people on mission is exciting.
